Immediately after posting the obituary on Vasilios Vassilakis, I read this tragic story from Southborough Wicked Local about the 49 year old father of five:
State police identified the man found dead in a Westborough swimming pool earlier this week as a Southborough resident.
Vasilios Vassilakis, 49, of 601 Madison Place, drowned at a Westborough home on Tuesday, Worcester County District Attorney spokesman Tim Connolly said.
Vassilakis was found unconscious in the water at 1 Copperbeech Circle shortly after noon on Tuesday. He was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center, where he could not be revived.
