2015 Divorce seminar series – free workshops

A law firm in town is promoting this year’s Divorce Seminar series.

While I hope that it provides information helpful for those who need it, I’m hoping there aren’t too many of you who have that need.

But since January has been labeled “Divorce month” in the media, there’s a good chance that some readers are facing this issue right now.

If you are, Attorney Irwin Pollack offers “ to help explain the process in clear, simple terms so everyone understands the process – as well as what they need to do to achieve the best possible outcomes for themselves and their families.”

Pollack is Founder and Lead Attorney of Pollack Law Group, P.C. in Southborough. The firm will be holding free two hour workshops to help you with important issues including:

  • child support and custody
  • parenting plans
  • alimony and spousal support
  • division of property
  • allocation of debt

The law firm will advise on your options and important information about the divorce process in Massachusetts, including:

  • The steps you need to take right now to protect yourself and your family
  • What to expect – legally and financially – during the divorce process
  • The biggest mistakes people make in divorce and custody proceedings – and how to avoid them

Five of this year’s sessions are scheduled to take place at the Route 9 Legal Center in Southborough (304 Turnpike Road). They will run from 10:00 am – noon on:

  • Thursday, January 29
  • Thursday, February 26
  • Thursday, March 19
  • Thursday, June 25
  • Thursday, September. 24

Admission is free, but advance registration is requested. For more information or to register online, visit www.DivorceSeminar2015.com or call 844-POLLACK (844-765-5225).

Participants will receive a packet of worksheets, checklists and other information to help prepare for the process.

Pollack is host of Talking About Divorce, a weekly talk show on News Radio 580 AM and 94.9 FM, WTAG. You can learn more about the show, and even listen online, here.
