Before listing the week’s schedule, here’s an update on Algonquin Regional High School’s winter season to date.
In Swimming, the team scored 14th for Girls, but swimmer Dorian McMenemy set a meet record, in the 50 Yard Freestyle. The Boys championship was rescheduled for this Sunday.
Girls Indoor Track came in 21st for their division. The Boys were in 13th, but Jacob Gore placed 3rd in the 600 Meter Run. Their state championship is this Saturday.
Wrestling was undefeated in their league heading into sectionals on Saturday. There, nine wrestlers qualified to for states with three in first place and two in second. The championship takes place this Friday. While I don’t have pics from that tournament, here’s a tweet I missed earlier this season:
