Several Town employees have been working with a consultant to design a new website for the Town. The new Virtual Town Hall is being designed to improve the community’s access to resources and the Town’s transparency.

Last week, Treasurer Brian Ballantine presented a proposed home page mockup to the Board of Selectmen. (Click thumbnail to enlarge.)

All agreed to solicit feedback from the community on the mockup before moving further ahead. But the goal is to launch the site this fall, so that timeframe is short.

If you have constructive criticism, questions (or praise) email selectmenoffice@southboroughma.com.

The Town’s current website asks, “If you have other thoughts on what components of the new website would be helpful, please also include those.”

The requested deadline for comments is this Wednesday, July 22.
