Police logs: Robbery at Falconi’s, suspicous footprints, and gun fire

Falconi Energy reported a break-in and theft. Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact the detective.

Police investigated suspicious activity elsewhere in town, including footprints outside a home.

On Thursday, Police also looked into reports of gun shots fired. They discovered that a nearby Ashland police officer had fired his gun – at a rabid racoon.

Monday, January 25, 2016:

  • 0606 hrs – Falconi’s on Boston Road reported a past burglary and malicious destruction to the business. Unknown person(s) had entered the business by force, and destroyed and stole several items from the business. The incident is currently under Investigation by the Detective Unit.   • 0823 hrs – A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 0931 hrs – An officer assisted two motorists with a motor vehicle accident that had occurred in Framingham. The accident was minor in nature, and the officer assisted both parties with exchanging information.
  • 1145 hrs – A medical was reported at a Pleasant Street business.
  • 1507 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1911 hrs – A resident of Newton Street reported suspicious behavior (footprints around the outside of their home). An officer responded and took a report of the incident.
  • 2015 hrs – A resident of Main Street reported two suspicious vehicles parked in the road for over an hour. The responding officer located the vehicles and reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 2027 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a fire alarm activation at a Pinecone Lane residence.

Tuesday, January 26, 2016: 

  • 0458 hrs – An officer responded to a citizen assist call at a Boston Road residence. The responding officer reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 0707 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Middle Road residence.
  • 0948 hrs – A medical was reported at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1040 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1100 hrs – An officer investigated a traffic complaint at a Latisquama Road residence.
  • 1324 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 1409 hrs – Officers investigated a noise complaint in the area of Boston Road.
  • 1619 hrs – An officer investigated a vandalism report at a Boston Road business.
  • 1705 hrs – ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License and Speed. He also had an active arrest warrant out for his arrest from Marlborough District Court.
  • 2356 hrs – A motorist from Ashland, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

Wednesday, January 27, 2016:

  • 0132 hrs – An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle that was parked outside of a Turnpike Road business. The officer spoke with the operator and reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 0803 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Ledge Hill Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 0933 hrs – An officer investigated a report of a suspicious person walking on Framingham Road. The person was located and everything checked out ok.
  • 1433 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Killam Farm Lane residence.
  • 1500 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Barn Lane residence.
  • 1832 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a road rage incident that occurred on Cordaville Road. Both parties were located and spoken to about the incident.

Thursday, January 28, 2016:

  • 0026 hrs – An officer on patrol investigated a suspicious motor vehicle that was parked outside of a Turnpike Road business. The officer reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 0727 hrs – Officers responded to Edgewood Road, after a resident reported hearing gun shots in the area. The responding officers reported back that an Ashland officer had used their firearm to put down a rabid raccoon in Ashland.
  • 1016 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Lovers Lane residence.
  • 1103 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1252 hrs – An officer investigated a harassment complaint from a town resident.
  • 1437 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1559 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Highland Street business.
  • 1611 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a disturbance at a Turnpike Road business (male party refusing to leave the building). The responding officers reported back that everything checked out ok.
  • 1825 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Edgewood Road residence.
  • 1846 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a report of smoke in the area of Southville Road.
  • 2016 hrs – An officer investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on White Bagley Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
