Police logs (3/14-3/20): Larcenies and dumping

Employers in town kept Southborough Police busy last week.

Police are seeking tips as they investigate the theft of construction fencing from a town business. Other reports included larceny from an employee, threats, illegal dumping of oil drums, and panhandling.

Monday, March 14, 2016:

  • 0812 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 0926 hrs – A medical was reported at a Mt. Vickery Road residence.
  • 1127 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1240 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
  • 1330 hrs – An officer took a Larceny report from an employee of St. Mark’s School on Marlboro Road.
  • 1504 hrs – A resident of Presidential Drive reported a lost ring.
  • 1739 hrs – Officers responded to a disturbance at a Clemmons Street residence.
  • 1939 hrs – A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
  • 2154 hrs – A No Trespass Notice was issued against a Marlboro, MA resident, after the individual made threats and caused a disturbance at Owen O’Leary’s Pub on Turnpike Road.
  • 2349 hrs – An officer on patrol investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Cordaville Road business. The vehicle and the operator checked out ok.

Tuesday, March 15, 2016: 

  • 0605 hrs – A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 0754 hrs – Officers investigated a report of malfunctioning traffic lights at Boston Road and Framingham Road.
  • 0945 hrs – An officer took a report of illegal dumping of waste from a Northboro Road business owner. The business owner found two, 55 gallon drums of oil illegally dumped in the business’ dumpster.
  • 1051 hrs – An officer investigated a report of a suspicious motor vehicle parked behind the Town Hall. The vehicle left the area prior to officers arriving on scene.
  • 1417 hrs – An officer assisted a resident with a civil matter at the police station.
  • 1607 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Marlboro Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 2056 hrs – An officer took a report of a suspicious male walking through the woods on Banfill Lane. The male party was no longer in the area.
  • 2158 hrs – An officer took a report of a suspicious phone call from a town resident.
  • 2355 hrs – An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Acre Bridge Road.

Wednesday, March 16, 2016:

  • 0814 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Latisquama Road residence.
  • 0912 hrs – An officer took a Larceny of Motor Vehicle report from a resident of Madison Place.
  • 1108 hrs – A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
  • 1235 hrs – An officer took a report of a suspicious phone call from a town resident.
  • 1736 hrs – An officer responded to the parking lot of a Turnpike Road business (Starbucks) to investigate a report of an individual asking people for money. The individual had left the area prior to the officer arriving on scene.
  • 2048 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Breakneck Hill Road residence.
  • 2136 hrs – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Wentworth Drive residence.
  • 2151 hrs – An officer responded to a fire alarm activation with the fire department at St. Mark’s School on Marlboro Road.
  • 2341 hrs – An officer on patrol investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Breakneck Hill Road. The unoccupied vehicle checked out ok.

Thursday, March 17, 2016:

  • 0959 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Pine Hill Road residence.
  • 1022 hrs – A resident of Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
  • 1050 hrs – A medical was reported at a Cherry Street residence.
  • 1234 hrs – A resident of Hudson, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Driver’s License.
  • 1354 hrs – An officer spoke with unregistered solicitors on Maplecrest Drive. They were advised to register at the police department.
  • 1801 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Vickery Hill Lane residence.
  • 1805 hrs – An officer investigated a report of a wire down on Oak Hill Road. Verizon was advised of the problem.
  • 2053 hrs – An officer took a Larceny report from an East Main Street resident.

Friday, March 18, 2016:

  • 0011 hrs – A medical was reported at a Carriage Hill Circle residence.
  • 0110 hrs – An officer on patrol investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator both checked out ok.
  • 1007 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 1333 hrs – A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 1346 hrs – Officers responded to Southville Road to investigate a report of a car vs. pole, motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported at the scene, and the road had to be shut down in order to replace the damaged pole.
  • 1611 hrs – An officer took a report of harassing phone calls from a town resident.
  • 1623 hrs – Officers investigated a three car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.

Saturday, March 19, 2016:

  • 0008 hrs – Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported that the motorcycle was no longer in the area.
  • 0101 hrs – An officer investigated a suspicious motor vehicle parked on Lynbrook Road.
  • 0152 hrs – A motorist from Milford, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Speeding; and Unsafe Lane Change.
  • 0216 hrs – Officers responded to Framingham Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator. The responding officers reported back that the vehicle was no longer in the area.
  • 0230 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Boston Road.
  • 0735 hrs – A motorist from Framingham, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and having No Inspection Sticker.
  • 1415 hrs – An officer took a Larceny report from a Breakneck Hill Road business. Approximately 300 ft of orange construction fencing and wooden stakes were taken from the Breakneck Hill Road Conservation area. The theft is currently under Investigation, and anyone with information is asked to please contact the police department at (508) 485-2121.
  • 1441 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street residence.
  • 1509 hrs – A medical was reported at a Clemmons Street residence.
  • 1929 hrs – An officer investigated two individuals found at the transfer station after hours. The individuals were asked to leave the area and to return during business hours.
  • 2207 hrs – A resident of Framingham, MA was issued a Town By-Law civil citation for marijuana possession.
  • 2323 hrs – A medical was reported at the MBTA station.

Sunday, March 20, 2016:

  • 0824 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Thayer Lane residence.
  • 0959 hrs – An officer responded to Maple Street to investigate a report of a suspicious motor vehicle in the area. The responding officer reported back that the vehicle was no longer in the area.
  • 1116 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Carolyn Terrace residence.
  • 1156 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Ted Lane residence.
  • 1204 hrs – A medical was reported at the St. Mark’s School on Marlboro Road.
  • 1234 hrs – Officers conducted a requested well-being check of an Aspenwood Lane resident.
  • 1841 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2022 hrs – An officer assisted a town resident with a civil issue.
