ARHS winter sports ended yesterday, with Boys Ice Hockey’s loss at TD Garden.

Boys Ice Hockey started the season with a win, followed by two ties and a loss. From there, they went on to a promising 6 game winning streak, then another loss and tie. They ended the regular season with a 12-3-5 record and as 4th seed in their league.

Their subsequent sectional title win and journey in the state championships exceeded all expectations. Yesterday, the boys faced Hanover at the Garden. Their luck turned, with Hanover dominating the game 5-1.

The Telegram covered the boys journey, heralding goaltender Mike Tascione for the team’s magical season. The site also covered the game in detail, posting several videos.

ARHS spring sports start up mid-next week. (Baseball is the late starter, holding off until April.)

But Girls Rugby is kicking things off early by joining Lincoln-Sudbury’s Jamboree this Saturday, March 26, at 9:00 am.
