More tournament brackets been posted. As expected, Algonquin Soccer is heading into playoffs.
First up is Boys Soccer. The 5th seed team will host 12th seed Burncoat on Saturday at 6:00 pm for the First Round. If they win, they’ll play in the Quarter Finals on Monday.
Girls soccer earned a Bye on the First Round. The 3rd seed team will host 6th seed North Middlesex on Tuesday at 6:00 pm. The winner will play in the November 9th Semi-Finals.
Last year, Girls Volleyball made it all the way to their sectional finals. Last week, the team wrapped up is disappointing fall with a win. But it wasn’t enough to break into the playoffs. The team finished the season 5-12.
I previously shared that Algonquin Boys Varsity Golf ‘s State Championship was postponed to Monday a the Haverhill Country Club. Since then, the shotgun start has been moved up to 10:30 am.
As I posted earlier this week, Field Hockey’s Quarter Finals are tomorrow. 10th seed Auburn won the right to take on the 2nd seed T-Hawks. That takes place at 2:30 pm on 911 field.
Once again, Friday Night Lights will be a non-playoff game. ARHS Football is hosting Tantasqua at 7:00 pm.
