Register for ice skating lessons and after school skiing/snowboarding – deadlines approaching

If you’re interested in signing your child up for winter recreation, better act soon. Skating lessons and the after-school ski/snowboard program have registration deadlines coming up.

Here are the details on both programs.

Skating Lessons at St. Marks Ice Rink

This program will hold instructions for Beginners, Advanced, and Intermediate levels for kindergarten and up. Participants will be broken up by ability and each group will have 30 minutes of lesson time. Children will be instructed for the development of basic skating skills that may be used for hockey or figure skating. (More details in flyer right.)

Ages: 5 & Up
Cost: $190/pp
Schedule: Sundays, November 19, 2017 – January 28, 2018, 5:00 – 6:30 pm (30 minutes of lesson time. 1 hour of practice skate)

After-school Ski/Snowboard Program

The RAP programs bus children straight from school to the resort. Optional ski and snowboarding lessons are available through the program. Or students can just enjoy time on the slopes. Kids can bring their own equipment or sign up for a rental package. Participants must return to the school on the bus, with parent pickup from the school.

Ages: 8 yrs old on 9/1/17 through middle school
Schedule: 5 week program beginning first week of January
Deadlines: Register for WW and Neary by November 30th. For early bird rates, register for Trottier by December 1st.
