It’s chilly out, but the sun is shining and the snow is gone. It’s a good day to think about spring sports.
Northborough-Southborough Softball Association is promoting early bird registration for the spring season. Registration is open through mid-March. But early bird rates apply only through the end of January. That’s less than a week away.
Once again, the league’s pitch includes the promise that the late April through June schedule is coordinated to “minimize conflicts with spring soccer, dance recitals, school events and Girl Scouts.”

Northboro-Southboro Girls Softball Registration Now Open
Northboro-Southboro Girls Softball fields teams in each of the following age groups:
6u Division is for girls born between Jan 2011 to March 31, 2013
8u Division is for girls born between Jan 2009 to Dec 20010
10u Division is for girls born between Jan 2007 to Dec 2008
12u Division is for girls born between Jan 2005 to Dec 2006
Early bird registration closes January 31, 20178
* The spring season begins in late April and runs through late June
* The game schedule is coordinated in order to minimize conflicts with spring soccer, dance recitals, school events and Girl Scouts.
