Plan to stop by the library on June 9th, this Saturday.  The Friends of the Southborough Library will be holding their annual Summer Book Sale.

You can pick up some summer reading, or even CDs and DVDs. You can also buy a new Friends tote bag to take advantage of the stuff a bag deal.

If you have kids, be sure to bring them by to pick out one free book each.

The sale will run from 10:00 am-3:00 pm. (Setup begins at 9:00 am for anyone who wants to lend a volunteering hand!)

Book Sale Friends of the LibraryA large portion of funds raised are used to purchase free or discount passes for the community.

Proceeds are also used by The Friends for other items the library’s budget can’t cover, including many of their programs for children, teens and adults, plus equipment and furniture.

It’s also a great time to re-up your annual membership.*
