Last week’s sports highlights included an exciting win by Algonquin Baseball over Leominster last week. The Telegram reports:
Although the Tomahawks mustered just two hits, they made them count, as sophomore Jack Branson delivered a two-out bases-loaded double in the seventh inning to give Algonquin a thrilling, 3-2, walk-off win over the Blue Devils.
ARHS Lacrosse’s 14-12 victory over Groton Dunstable was a special one for senior Kate Sullivan who earned her 200th point in the process. You can read Wicked Local’s coverage here.
Just because school is out this week, that doesn’t mean a high school athletes have a break. Today was already a busy one for spring sports.
ARHS Athletics tweeted results from today’s earlier varsity competitions. As of my writing this post, there were 2 wins and 2 losses and one more game had yet to finish playing out.
