Obituary: Maowu Huang, 80

Maowu Huang, of Southborough, 80, beloved husband of Zhongjie Zhu, passed away surrounded by his family on June 12th at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus Hospital after a sudden illness.

Mr. Huang was a retired professor of Southern China Agricultural University and resided in Southborough, Massachusetts with his daughter Ying Huang. He had long journey on sport, education, and health cultivation. He had a successful carrier as the Dean of Sport Dept at SCAU and became well-known scholar in the cross-field of sport and health. He was a dedicated family man and active figure in the local Chinese community.

Mr. Huang is survived by his son Ming Huang and his wife, Ping Zeng, his daughter, Ying Huang and her husband, Daniel Xu, grandfather of Alice Huang and Alisha Xu. Brother of Maoe Huang and Maoshen Huang.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visiting hour on Tuesday, June 18th at the Chiampa Funeral Home ~ The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, Shrewsbury Center from 10:00 to 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00am in the funeral home.
