Southborough K-8 teachers haven’t forgotten about the older students they taught years ago. The teachers are looking to support Southborough’s graduating class of 2020.

The Southborough Teachers Association asked me to help promote their scholarship opportunities for graduating Algonquin students from Southborough. This year, they are giving out two scholarships:

Mary Mullins Memorial Award – $750

The scholarship will be awarded “to a Southborough senior at Algonquin Regional High School who is pursuing a degree in education or a related field of study at a four-year institution.”

Dr. Charles Gobron Integrity Award – $750

This scholarship “recognizes a Southborough senior at Algonquin Regional High School who personifies high ethics as demonstrated through leadership, community service, personal integrity, and academic accomplishments.”

Applications for each are due by April 1st. For details, interested students should look for the scholarship opportunities in Naviance or speak to their guidance counselors.
