Kids are invited to decorate baked goods this week and send in their pics to Southborough Youth Council.
This week, Southborough kids in grades Kindergarten through high school are invited to take part in a contest for “baked goods”. Since the voting will be virtual, judges won’t be critiquing flavor or texture. They’ll be looking for the best decorated treats.
The free contest is organized by a group of Southborough kids—members of the Southborough Youth Council.
If you aren’t familiar with SYC, it is a group of young volunteers organized by Southborough Youth & Family Services.

The Southborough Youth Council wants to spread some cheer (and some frosting) during social distancing with a baked goods Virtual Decorating Competition! The most original and eye-catching design in each age category will win a $25 gift card! Send your pictures or questions to southboroughyc@gmail.com. Bon appetit!
Prizes will be awarded in three age groups:
- K-3rd grade
- 4th-8th grade
- 9th-12th grade
The contest will be held later this week—Friday, August 21st to Sunday August, 23rd. Email in your pics to southboroughyc@gmail.com. Please include your name age and address in the email.
