  • Companion Planting & Design Workshop (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ zoom: This workshop is part of the Southborough Library’s “Dig In! Garden Information Series”. In this session, Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens will focus on which plants grow better next to other. Anyone 12 or older can pre-register through Southborough Recreation.   • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:00 am) @ Facebook Live: Children’s Librarian “Miss Kim” will hold a story time for ages 2-6 (siblings welcome). Each week will feature themed stories on Facebook Live with Ms. Kim! No registration necessary (Note: You don’t have to have a Facebook account to watch the Library’s videos, which are still viewable after the live event is over.)
  • QiGong for seniors (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ zoom: For details on weekly class, see dedicated post.
  • Joys of Nature – Netherlands (2:30 – 3:30 pm) @ zoom: This Senior Center program is limited to members of the Friends of Council on Aging. Pre-registration is required (and it could fill up quickly.) This session is “The Netherlands: Land of Winds, Water & Wildlife”. For details, see dedicated post.
  • SYFS speaker series: SCREENWISE (7:30 pm) @ zoom: Southborough Youth and Family Services is sponsoring a free speaker series this spring. This session’s topic is “SCREENWISE: Helping Kids Thrive (and Survive) in Their Digital World”. Author and speaker Devorah Heitner “addresses parents questions about how to create a positive media ecology in your home that is proactive, fun and smart!” For details, see dedicated post.
  • Selectmen Office Hours (7:30 – 8:30 pm) @ zoom: The Board of Selectmen are hosting virtual Office Hours. Please join Sam Stivers and Chelsea Malinowski to discuss your questions, concerns or interests with selectmen in an informal setting. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Young Scientists STEM Beginnings (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ zoom: A free virtual series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments.   • Elder Law advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: An Elder Law attorney who has given many seminars at the Senior Center will offer Southborough seniors free individualized legal advice during scheduled remote sessions.
