Storyteller at the Library Friday morning

This Friday morning, the Southborough Library is bringing back Storyteller Diane Edgecomb. In keeping with this year’s Summer Reading theme, she’ll be spinning tales about animals:

Storyteller flyer Who has the best tales in the world? Animals do! From folktales about adventurous monkeys to a true tale of a neighborhood squirrel that drives everyone NUTS we’ll have tons of participatory fun with Diane’s engaging stories about four-legged capers.

Winner of both the national and regional Circle of Excellence award for her storytelling, Diane is known for transforming into the characters in her tales bringing each story to vibrant life. “A storyteller in the grand tradition… Edgecomb is an entire cast rolled into one!” Publisher’s Weekly.

The event is 11:00 am on Friday, August 6th on the Library’s lawn. It’s free and open to the public with no registration required.
