This weekend, both teams will compete in qualifiers for the State tourneys.

Three other ARHS teams will be competing in the CMass Athletic Director’s spring tournaments this week. All are in this afternoon’s Class A Quarterfinals at Algonquin.

Girls Tennis is up first at 3:30 pm. The 4th seed team will play 5th seed Nashoba. The Titan’s record is 6-9. In MIAA Power Rankings, the team is ranked #32 in Division 1.

Boys Tennis follows at 4:45 pm. 2nd seed ARHS will play 7th seed South. MIAA ranked the team #18 for D1. That was based on their 7-7 record, prior to a 4-1 lost to Hopkinton in a makeup match yesterday.

ARHS Boys Volleyball is also Class A 2nd seed. The Boys will play 7th seed Burncoat at 5:30 pm. With an overall 13-5 record, the Boys are ranked #24 in MIAA D1.

On Friday, MIAA updated the Power Rankings I previously shared for other teams.

Gonk Boys and Girls Lacrosse are now both ranked #21 for D1. For the Boys that was a fall by three spots from initial rankings. Their current record is 8-5. For the Girls, it was an improvement by three. Their record is 8-6.

According to the Community Advocate, the Boys will be celebrating their Senior Night tonight:

The night will celebrate the team’s graduating seniors while also featuring food trucks and a silent auction where community members can win Premier Lacrosse League tickets as well as other prizes.

The Telegram interviewed the Girls about this season’s milestones after their over Minnechaug last week.

In other MIAA power rankings and stats:

  • Baseball improved by two to #29 in Division 1, with a 7-10 record.
  • Softball fell three spots to #58 in Division 2, with a 3-14 record.
