Algonquin Regional’s Student Council is inviting the community to an outdoor movie night. (It isn’t free, but it is cheap!)

The event is to help raise funds for ARHS events like, the high school’s Pep Rally, Winter Ball, and Carnival.

The group chose a family friendly movie. Given the Tik-Tok trend fueled popularity of Minions 2 with teens earlier this summer, the selection is a good one.

The council invites the public to enjoy the original movie that kicked of the animated franchise:

Celebrate the return to school with a community-wide showing of Despicable Me!

Tickets will cost only $3/student and $5/adult. You can buy them in person (cash only) or in advance online. (Either way, you’ll want to bring some extra cash for refreshments.)

The movie will be screened on Friday, September 2nd at 7:30 pm. It’s on the football field, so be sure to bring chairs and/or blankets (and maybe some bug spray).
