The Southborough Library is hosting a visit by a resident children’s author of a new “graphic novel-style picture book”.

The Library invites the public to join Phaea Crede on Thursday afternoon:

Phaea Crede visit flyerAs a writer with dyslexia, Phaea is proud to demonstrate that disabilities don’t have to stand in the way of dreams. She loves to connect with kids and adults who think they can’t write – and convince them that they can!

Last year, Crede published the picture book Jet the Cat (is Not a Cat). This fall, she’s promoting Super Pizza & Kid Kale, which she described on twitter as a “silly story of friendship, jealousy, and food puns”.

To celebrate, she’s holding a special event at the Library at 4:00 pm on November 3rd. Attendees will be invited to:

Play writing games, do silly crafts, and enjoy a read-aloud of Phaea’s books.
