If you’re looking to check out some books, get rid of some trash, or have other Town business to take care of, plan ahead over the next two weeks.
Here’s a list of when Southborough’s municipal facilities will be closed for Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
Southborough public schools
Early dismissal is Friday, December 23.
Closed through New Years; resuming on Tuesday, January 3
Southborough Library
Closed Friday, December 23 – Monday, December 26
Closed again Saturday, December 31st – Monday, January 2.

Southborough Senior Center
Closed Friday, December 23 – Monday, December 26
Closed again Monday, January 2nd.
(On the days they are open, they will follow regular hours, weekdays 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.)
Transfer Station
Closed Friday, December 23 & Saturday, December 24
Closed Saturday, December 31st
(Regular hours are Wednesdays – Saturdays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm)
Southborough Town Offices
The Town House and most Town Offices have the following schedule:
Closed Friday, December 23 – Monday, December 26
Closed again Monday, January 2nd.

Two departments posted extended closure notices:
- Conservation Department — The agent will be out Friday, December 23 – Monday, January 2, but a department assistant will be available on a part-time schedule (though not on days that the Town buildings are closed as noted above). For more details, click here.
