The Southborough Library is again partnering with SkyRise Theater for some special story times for kids ages 4-9 years old.

The interactive story readings of popular picture books will incorporate games and activities. Pre-registration is required.

Two free events are sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library. Each will take place on a Saturday morning, 11:00 – 11:45 am:

“Dooby Dooby Moo” by Doreen Cronin on February 4th

The book features more antics by the wacky farmyard animals of the “Click Clack Moo” series as they prepare to compete in a county talent show.

“Secret Agent Splat” by Rob Scotton on April 1st

When Splat the Cat detects something is amiss with his father’s duck decoy collection, he decides to investigate.

To register for either event, click here. (If online registration closes a day or two before the program, you can email Children’s Librarian Kim Ivers at to ask if there is room for your kids to sign up.)

Updated (3/28/23 11:05 am): I added the backup registration detail.
