Next week, the Southborough Library is hosting an event to get kids exited about “Moving Up” to Pre-K, Kindergarten, or 1st grade this fall. Children’s entertainer Tom Knight will returns to the Library with his puppets and guitar.

The Library promotes, that he’ll be entertaining with puppets, songs, and laughter:

Join him for “The Library Boogie” and some new songs!

This event does require pre-registration. It is for kids ages 3-6 but siblings are welcome. All children participating will receive a free book.

Below are a couple of photos from Knight’s prior visits to the Library from their Facebook page:

The program is Thursday, June 22nd at 11:00 am.

It’s worth noting for kids in Kindergarten at Finn School (or their morning Pre-K), it conflicts with the last morning of NSBORO school. Fortunately, the series sponsored by YFCP* includes a session at Northborough Library the following week.

You can register for either session here.

*This event is sponsored by YMCA Family & Community Partnership (YFCP), a Massachusetts Coordinated Family & Community Engagement (CFCE) grant funded by the Department of Early Education & Care & awarded to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.
