Crafternoons for ages 8+

Register crafty kids for this fall's sessions in the Library's continuing series.

The Southborough Library is holding more afternoon crafting workshops for kids ages 8+ this fall. The monthly “Crafternoon” series is timed with appropriate choices for the seasons.

Each will take place on a Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:00 pm. As with all of the Library’s Crafternoons, participation is free, but registration is required. 

Below are the dates and descriptions.

Cancelled – Fridge Magnets — September 20

Indefinitely postponed due to illness.Use a variety of craft supplies from tiles and mosaic glass to beads and clay to create one of a kind magnets for your fridge.

Sewing Skulls — October 25

Using felt pieces and either glue or needle and thread, make a colorful sugar skull that can be made into a sachet or wall art depending on your creative vision.

Pressed Flower Lanterns — November 15

Using a process known as decoupage, use pressed flowers, burlap and twine to create a rustic seasonal lantern that will be a perfect November centerpiece or decoration.

Gift Making — December 20

Choose from 4 different craft stations to create simple handmade items that can be wrapped for holiday gift giving.
