  • NSBORO Flu Shot Clinic (9:00 am – noon) @ Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: Northborough/Southborough residents and employees can sign up for this “drive through” vaccine clinic for ages 6 months and older. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Goat Hangout and Ramble (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: (Formerly called “Hike with Goats”.) Your reservation gets you and your group of family or friends an hour-long experience with a friendly goat on its own harness and leash. For details, click here.
  • Scarecrow Selfie Saturdays (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Drop-in to take a selfie with our scarecrows. Costumes & accessories are welcome and encouraged. (No registration required.) For details, see related post.
  • Owls, Spiders, and Bats, Oh My! (10:00 – 11:30 am) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Learn about some of our spookiest wildlife during this fun family program! Pre-registration (and fee) required. For details, see related post.
  • Middle School Book Club (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Monthly Book Club for grades 6-8 with discussion and activities. For details, see related post.
  • Read to a Dog (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Register for kids ages 5+ to get a chance to read to a therapy dog. For details, see related post.
  • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.

  • Select Board Office Hours (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Town House Hearing Room, 17 Common St: Residents are invited to drop in to informally speak with two Board members about any questions, concerns or interests. This session will be hosted by members Al Hamilton and Sam Stivers
  • The Backyard Orchard (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Blackstone Valley Veggie Gardens presentation on techniques for successful, fruit bearing trees. Register here.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Southborough cemetery, 11 Cordaville Road: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Flu Clinic for Seniors (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Pre-register for the high-dose vaccine for ages 65+. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Flu Clinic for ages 12+ (1:30 – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Pre-register for the Town’s Flu Clinic for ages 12-64. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Read to a Dog (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Children preferably ages 5 and up with some reading ability will read to Perla, a certified therapy dog. Each child participating will have a chance to read a short book to Perla. Please register in the Children’s Room (or you can email kivers@southboroughma.com /call 508-485-5031).
  • Southborough Rotary Club (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, main floor: Regular meeting of the Rotary Club of Southborough. New and prospective members are always welcome. (Held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month.)

  • Preschool Farm Explorers (10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: For ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years old, Adult supervision required. Pre-registration (and fee) required. (discount for younger siblings and free for siblings under 1.) Little farm explorers will become immersed in what life is like at Chestnut Hill. Each session has a different theme. (Offered weekly.)   • Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A weekly program for ages 0-2 years with their parents/caregivers. Each session will include puppets and music. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Tech Time (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Teen Room: Weekly drop-in session to get help from a librarian or teen volunteer. Learn about the Library’s apps and databases, get guidance on your devices, and have tech questions answered.

  • Night of Stories (6:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, Black Box Theater, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: A Story Bridge Showcase featuring personal stories by ten members of the Northborough-Southborough public schools community. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Floral Design Workshop — Hydreangea Wreath (time) @ Gulbankian Florist, 40 Mt. Vickery Rd: There is a fee for the event, space is limited, and pre-registration is required for this workshop to create your own hydrangea and pennycress wreath. For details, see dedicated post.
