Three out of the five Algonquin teams that competed in season openers last week won.
Both Titans Basketball teams played Shepherd Hill on Friday night. The Girls won their home game, 52-45. In their away game, the Boys lost to the home team 62-59.
Although they swam in earlier invitationals, the first official season meet for ARHS Swim teams was also on Friday. Both teams beat Wachusett, the Boys 128-33 and the Girls 88-68.
On Saturday, Gonk Wrestling lost to St. John’s 68-12.
Tonight, Girls Ice Hockey will host their season opener against Franklin. And on Wednesday, the Boys will kick off their season by playing in the Borough’s Cup.
