Sign up for the Blood Mobile – Feb 29

Get a Target Gift Card in exchange for giving the "gift of life".

The Blood Mobile that serves Dana-Farber Cancer Insitute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital will return this month. The community is encouraged to sign up to donate on February 29th.

Blood MobileThe public is requested to donate life giving blood through the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center’s Blood Mobile.

As an incentive/reward, those who successfully donate will receive a $10 Target Gift Card.

Brigham and Women’s continues to advertise an immediate need for Type-O positive and negative whole blood.” (Of course, they are also seeking blood from those that don’t meet that criteria.)

To donate, you must be over 17 years old, at least 110lbs., and “in good health and feeling well”, and bring a Photo ID. (From past drives, participants are also encouraged to “Be well hydrated and eat before donating”.)

The mobile clinic will be parked at the Southborough Library (25 Main Street) on Wednesday, September 20th from 12:00 – 6:30 pm.

Although some walk-in slots may be available, participants are asked to register in advance. Click here to sign up.

Organizer Karen Anglim has arranged for the Blood Mobile to return every 2-3 months this year. (Also on Thursdays at the Library from 12:00 – 6:30 pm.) So you can mark your calendars and stay tuned for registration info for the following dates: May 2, July 11, Sept 26, and Dec 5.
