  • V-Day pop up market (10:30 am – 3:00 pm) @ Apothecary Artists Studio, 1 Boston Road: Items on sale by local artists and artisans will include “Everything you need for the ones you love.”. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Valentine’s Day Party (10:30 am – 1:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s Room: Drop in for crafts, games, and cookie decorating! No registration required. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.
  • Native Seed Pickup (11:30 – 12:30 pm) @ behind Cordaville Hall, 9 Cordaville Road: The drive thru pickup is for those who already signed up to receive free native seeds by the deadline. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Winter Sow Workshop (1:0 – 2:00 pm) @ Cordaville Hall, 9 Cordaville Road: Participation in this workshop put on by the Open Space Preservation Commission is mainly for people participating in the Native Seed Pickup. Pre-registration is required, with a deadline of 9:00 am that morning. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Kids’ night out (5:00 – 9:00 pm) @ St Mark’s Episcopal Church hall, 27 Main St: Drop off event for kids ages 2 yrs old – 5th graders. Funds support the church’s youth mission trip. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Kids DIY Valentine Floral Arrangement Workshop (3:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Gulbankian Florist, 40 Mt Vickery Rd: For ages 5-15 years old. There is a registration fee and attendance is limited. For details, see related post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free weekly walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.
  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Ages 2-5 are invited for stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required. For details, see related post.
  • Knitting Club (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Bi-monthly social knitting group. Beginners are welcome and supplies will be provided, though you can also bring your own and “any creation you are working on”. For details, see related post.

  • Cancelled – Select Board Office Hours (6:00 – 7:00 pm): Note: This was previously scheduled. But the board has posted an agenda for a meeting that night instead.
  • Poetry Workshop (6:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, main level: Bring in five copies of original poetry to share. The group will provide supportive feedback. If you don’t have a poem, come anyway and share your insights. (Meets twice monthly.)

  • Elder Law Advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: Southborough seniors can sign up for a free 15 minute session of individualized legal advice from an Elder Law attorney. For details, see the Senior Center’s newsletter, p. 9.
  • Senior Matinee: Barbie (12:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Pre-registration is required and this may already have filled up for the free movie screening for seniors. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Sit & Knit (2:00 – 4:00pm) @ Southborough Library: Biweekly program for ages 18+ to drop in and work on your latest knitting or crochet projects while you enjoy the company of fellow yarn crafters in a relaxed social setting. All levels are welcome but no formal instruction will be given.
