GonkPlex youth SoccerFest in support of Jimmy Fund

Sign up soccer lovers ages 7-12 for the fundraiser to fight cancers. Organizers are also seeking older students to signup as referees or to hold club booths.

Algonquin Regional High School’s Student Council is putting on a fundraiser in a few weeks to raise funds for Dana Farber’s Jimmy Fund.

The GonkPlex SoccerFest will be held on Sunday, April 28th at the school’s newly renovated outdoor facilities. Organizers hope it will be successful enough to become a tradition.

Right now, the student council is encouraging registration and also seeking volunteers.

All sign-up proceeds directly benefit Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund on their mission to defy cancer through research and care. Let’s work together to make a difference!

Kids are encouraged to form their own team of players to sign up. Registration is $100 per team of 6-8 players. The event is open to U9 (7-9 year old players) and U12 (10-12 year olds).

Youth Soccer Tournament seeking volunteers flyerThe council has also been promoting the event to fellow students, asking them to sign up to referee 3v3 games or hold club booths. To sign up for that, email arhsstudentcouncil@nsboro.K12.ma.us or DM them on Instagram @arhsstuco.
