Winter Market — November 17 (Updated)

Save-the-Date, book a holiday mini-photo shoot, or reach out about having a booth to sell your works at the downtown Shop Local event

Every fall, before Thanksgiving, local artisans from Southborough and the surrounding area hold a special shopping event at the Southborough Community House. This year, the event is expanding with a second location across the way.

That means they have room to allow more vendors interested in joining them!

This year’s “Winter Market” will be held on Sunday, November 17th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. As always, admission to the market is free.

The event will be co-hosted at the Community House (28 Main Street) and Apothecary Artists (in the 11 Main Street professional building).

For any vendors interested in having a booth at the market, you can email Chelsea Bradway at chelseabradway@gmail.com (or message her through Facebook).

For those of you saving the date to shop, the Facebook event and flyer promote:

Shop locally this holiday season at Southborough’s annual sale. Find beautiful handmade items for everyone on your shopping list or book a holiday photoshoot with All Things Sparkley!

Click here to learn more about booking a 15 minute mini-photo shoot during the event.

It seems clear (especially on a day as warm as this one) that its unlikely to feel as wintery in a couple of weeks as the flyer is promoting. So, I’m guessing the “winter” theme and image are to get you in the mood for shopping for the kinds of things that you may not want to wait until after Thanksgiving to buy.

Based on past markets, that could include cozy knitted goods, jewelry/apparel/accessories to wear to holiday parties, lotions to protect skin during the season, holiday decor, etc. Plus, obviously, you can also get in some early shopping for holiday gifts.

Updated (11/11/24 4:20 pm): I mistakenly posted this as Sunday the 14th. Sunday is the 17th.
