Southborough Recreation is promoting the return of an event that should make a lot of young residents very happy. The Town is putting on another Touch-A-Truck event.
The event on Sunday, May 3rd starts off with a “sensory friendly” time from 10:00 – 10:30 am.
The overall event will continue until noon. Drop-in, no registration required!
The big trucks will be parked in the lower parking lot of Woodward Elementary School, 28 Cordaville Road.
Rec promotes:
Families have the chance to get up close and explore some of our favorite big trucks, engines, and other exciting vehicles. It will be a fun-filled morning of hands-on learning, community connection, and plenty of smiles from future drivers and builders!
Last year, Rec posted photos from the event on Facebook. Pics showed that visiting trucks included DPW’s big backhoe and dump trucks, a fire engine, ambulance, long tow truck, utility “cherry picker”, and more. (There was even an ice cream truck. But that one wasn’t for climbing on.)
