Ronald “Ronnie” Courtemanche died at home on August 24, 2026. Raised in Stow, MA, he was the son of the late George D. and Josephine “Jo” (Brescia) Courtemanche. He is survived by his daughter, Kristl Courtemanche of Melbourne, FL; his son, Kevin Courtemanche and his wife, Lauren, of Amesbury, MA; two grandchildren; and his brother, George “Butch” Courtemanche of California. He is also survived by his cousins David R. Courtemanche of Florida and Celia Snow of Massachusetts, who selflessly looked out for Ronnie for many years.
Ronnie served in the United States Air Force, including service in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged as an E-5 Staff Sergeant in 1971. His military decorations included the Air Force Commendation Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal.
After returning home, Ronnie began a long career in plumbing and heating. He eventually took over LaBarre Plumbing & Heating and later formed B.E.S.T. Plumbing & Heating. He also served for several decades as the plumbing inspector for the Town of Southborough. He ultimately retired from Falconi Brothers, the company where he had begun his career.
An avid golfer, Ronnie especially enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach with his golf buddies. At home, he could usually be found outside working around his yard. After selling his home in Southborough, he moved to Westborough, where he spent the last 20-plus years. Ronnie lived a quiet life and was always willing to lend a hand to his neighbors when he could.
At Ronnie’s request, no services will be held.
