Police remind: Lockup your valuables and your vehicles

The SPD alert on Facebook includes image of a suspect who allegedly rummaged through contents of cars on Atwood Road.

This week, the Southborough Police issued a post on Facebook about two incidents reported this past weekend. It’s a reminder of why they repeatedly encourage residents to lock up vehicles in their driveways and on the street:

The Southborough Police Department is reminding residents to take precautions following two reports received yesterday morning (Sunday, Oct. 4th approx. 0155hrs) involving vehicles in town.

Our officers responded to reports from two residents whose vehicles appeared to have been rummaged through. At this time, nothing appears to have been taken from the vehicles, and the incidents appear to be concentrated in the Atwood Road neighborhood.
