When I originally shared news about the Southborough Gardeners’ November Guest Day, you may have still been in more of a Halloween spirit. But as you start to think about ways to decorate your home for upcoming season, you may want to make a plan to attend the Gardener’s event.
As always, the event features an expert demonstrating inspiring floral arranging techniques, with tips that will help for the holidays.
This year’s event will take place on the morning of Thursday, November 12th at Pilgrim Church’s Fellowship Hall (15 Common St).
The public is encouraged to purchase tickets to join them. Admission is $15. The doors will open at 9:00 am for the program beginning at 10:00 am.
Attendees will enjoy refreshments while watching a presentation “Fun with Flowers” by visiting expert Kathryn Leva. The Gardeners promote that Leva will:
take us through multiple holidays and featuring arrangements that celebrate this wonderful, joyful and festive time of year. Arrangements created as part of the presentation and bouquets of flowers not used in the demonstration will be raffled off following the program.
And, at the event you can sign up for their upcoming Porch Pot Workshop. Plus, you can get a jump on ordering their annual holiday wreaths.
The annual fundraiser is one of the ways the Gardeners support their “local beautification and education projects”.
