Making the most of kids’ (and adults’) end of summer

Above: Quick links to ways to make most of the summer includes stories I never got around to this summer and ones from the start of the season (scroll to bottom for photo credits)

As I posted this morning, school kids only have two more weeks of summer vacation. For those looking to make the most of this time, I’ve compiled links to help. But you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy all the summer fun in our area.

Most of these are stories from this summer that you may have missed. A few are topics I planned to cover, but never managed to this year.

Sign up for your last chance for camp

Next week is the last full week for kids to enjoy camp. Many area programs (including Southborough Rec’s) will have finished. But St. Mark’s Episcopal Church volunteers will hold their annual Vacation Bible School camp from August 20-24. It’s not too late to sign kids up for it. The program is for age 4 to grade 5.
