Michael Petersante, 75, of Boston, formerly of Southborough passed away Sunday Apr. 27th after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Rosemary (Gialombardi) Petersante. He worked for 38 years as a salesman for Boston Volkswagen.
Michael served his country honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-71.
He is survived by his longtime partner Eric Rizzo of W. Roxbury, brother David Petersante and his partner David Moccia of Billerica, and his sister Carol Kulkin and her husband Matthew of Florida, nephew, Justin Gray of Billerica, and niece Mariah Kulkin of Florida.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. Apr. 30th at 10:00am in St. Cecilia’s Parish, 54 Esty St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Visiting hours will be held Tue from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.
