The Southborough Food Pantry asked me to make readers aware of their updated need for donations. Reminder — the summer is a tough time for the Pantry as school collections end but families in need are still here throughout the summer.
Pantry organizers are seeking donations specifically listed on their current needs list*.
Here is the list of items they are currently* looking to stock:
Pasta Sauce in Jars
Dish Detergent
Cranberry Juice 64 oz.
Coffee Regular
CapriSun
Apple Juice boxes 6.75 oz.
Mayonnaise
Laundry Detergent Regular & Sensitive
Pump Hand Soap
Corned Beef Hash
Aluminum Foil
Plastic Sandwich Bags
Green Olives
Grape Juice 64 oz.
Canned Carrots
Triscuits Crackers
Salt 26 oz.
Hot Cocoa
Club Crackers
Deodorant: Men’s and Women’s
Canola Oil
Boil-in-Bag White Rice
Miracle Whip
Baking Soda
Please remember to check the expiration dates before you donate. (Also, note that while it’s fine to donate multi-packs, please don’t donate jumbo/commercial-sized items, like giant jars.)
The food donations can be dropped off in the storage bins at the back entrance of Pilgrim Church, 15 Common Street.
Gift cards, cash or checks should be mailed to Southborough Food Pantry c/o Pilgrim Church, P.O. Box 281, Southborough, MA 01772.
