The Tricentennial Committee is promoting a free ice cream social to take place a week from Sunday.
Committee members hope to use the drop-in gathering to get the community pumped about the upcoming 300th anniversary, and hopefully raise some more funds for the big celebrations they have planned throughout 2027.
The committee’s flyer promotes, “What’s the Scoop on Southborough’s Tricentennial?”
The event is scheduled for Sunday, September 7th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm in Southborough’s Heritage Park. (That’s the park next to the Southborough Library on the corner of Rte 85 and St. Mark’s Street.)
