The Southborough Police Department issued a press release yesterday about four arrests made on Tuesday in a Southborough hotel.

Southborough Police Arrest Four, Including Two on Drug Charges, Following Proactive Warrant Service
Chief Ryan Newell reports that the Southborough Police Department arrested two people on drug charges on Tuesday after serving a warrant at a local hotel.
[A 54 year old Marlborough resident (Subject A)], was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Class A Drug (Subsequent Offense)
[A 68 year old Worcester resident (Subject B)] was arrested and charged with:
- Possession of a Class B Drug
On Tuesday, Nov. 18, at approximately 2 p.m., Detective Owen O’Brien attempted to serve an arrest warrant at a hotel on Turnpike Road in connection with an ongoing investigation. O’Brien had information that the subject, [a 42 year old Charlton resident (Subject C)], was residing at the hotel.
Detectives went to one of the rooms and located six people, including [SUBJECT C].
During an on-scene investigation, detectives located a bag of crack cocaine and two crack pipes on [SUBJECT B’s] person. Detectives also located a clear plastic bag containing a powdery substance believed to be fentanyl on [SUBJECT A’s] person.
[SUBJECT C] was arrested on straight warrants out of Worcester District Court on drug and identity fraud charges, and on default warrants out of Westborough District Court on larceny and shoplifting charges.
[SUBJECT A] also had an active warrant for his arrest out of Worcester District Court.
In a separate incident, Off. Jeremy McClosky and Off. PJ Samarxhi responded to the same hotel at about 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, and arrested [a 36 year old] who is currently homeless, on an active warrant out of Worcester District Court for failing to appear in court. These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
