A lot of Town personnel are getting ready to take some time off. So, if you’re looking to check out some books, get rid of some trash, or have other Town business to take care of, plan ahead over the next two weeks.
Here’s a list of when Southborough’s municipal facilities will be closed for Christmas and New Year’s holidays — starting tomorrow.
Southborough public schools
Half day tomorrow (Tuesday, December 23rd). Closed Wednesday, December 24th through Friday, January 2nd. Resumes on Monday, January 5th.
Southborough Library
Closed Wednesday, December 24th – Thursday, December 25th.
Closed again on Thursday, January 1st.
Southborough Senior Center
Closed on Wednesday, December 24th through Friday, December 26th. Reopens on Monday, December 29th.
Closed again on Thursday, January 1st.
Transfer Station
Closed Wednesday, December 24th through Thursday, December 25th
Close again on Thursday, January 1st.
(Their normal schedule is Wednesdays – Saturdays)
Southborough Town Offices
The Town House and most Town Offices have the following schedule:
Closed Wednesday, December 24th through Thursday, December 25th. On Friday, December 26th staff will be working remotely (until noon).
Closed again on Thursday, January 1st.
However, some staff may be taking extra vacation time or working from home over these weeks. So, I recommend reaching out to a specific employee or department before dropping in!
