Reminder — Southborough Recreation is coordinating a “Spring Youth Sports Equipment Swap” this Sunday.
Although it’s regular youth league season isn’t spring, and basketballs aren’t featured on the flyer, they are included in the event. (Just don’t plan to swap out equipment for snow/ice related sports!)
Rec promotes that the event is in partnership with Southborough Youth Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, and Baseball/Softball Associations.
Today (Friday, the 13th) is the last day to drop off any items for the swap.
The free shopping event will be held this Sunday, March 15th from 9:00 am to noon. That’s at 21 Highland St (the South Union building).
Rec is still also seeking volunteers to help organize on Saturday and run the Shop on Sunday. That includes middle school and high school students looking for volunteer hour opportunities. You can register for a shift helping out here.
