The school calendar is winding down, and summer is just around the corner. So, I’m reminding parents about the summer camp options in town.

Today, I’m focusing on “St. Mark’s Summer”. This summer, the private school’s full day camp is expanding options to allow campers as young as 3 years old.

For the summer, St. Mark’s uses its boarding school facilities to offer day camps. The Traditional camp is open to preschoolers through 8th graders. 3rd – 8th graders can also sign up for Sports and Enrichment camps. And a CIT Leadership program is available for for 9th & 10th graders.

The camp is generally broken into four 2-week sessions that run weekdays from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (with extended options for 7:30 am – 5:30 pm for an additional fee). This year, they are also promoting a 1-week options with limited spaces. (The pricing isn’t listed on the website for that.)

The first session, kicks off on June 22nd, but runs takes Friday, July 3rd off (with a discount). The final session runs through August 14th.

The 2-week registration cost is $980 for Traditional Camp, $1,070 for Sports and Enrichment Camps, and $1,000 for CITs. (The one week costs aren’t listed.) There is a 5% sibling discount. Lunch and snacks are included.

The website promotes:

Our variety of Traditional and Enrichment Camps, along with our St. Mark’s Summer partner programs, allows families to mix and match to meet the needs of everyone in the family. With one-stop shopping for a range of ages and interests, you can register once and be done!

As previous classroom teachers, school administrators, coaches, and camp leaders, we know kids. Our leadership team works hard to ensure that all St. Mark’s Summer staff have a toolbox of best practices and strategies for supporting campers of all ages. We’ll meet campers where they are developmentally and challenge them appropriately to learn and grow.

The camp also promotes its traditional camp’s use of the school’s swimming pool and ropes course. Below are photos they shared of campers from past summers:
