To the Editor:
On behalf of the Southborough Democratic Town Committee, I want to thank all the young voters and their grown-ups who were part of the fiercely contested Heritage Day election contest between Skittles and M&Ms. We very much appreciate you participating in the civic privilege and responsibility of voting. We had so much fun with you and hope that you did, too. We had 195 total votes cast! The results: 107 votes for Skittles and 85 votes for M&Ms, so Skittles takes the prize for 2026. For the three of you who couldn’t make up your mind and voted for both, we feel you – decisions can be really hard sometimes. Thanks again, and we hope you’ll join us next Heritage Day for another candy showdown!
