Have you noticed the new cameras at the intersection of Rt. 9 and Oak Hill Rd/Central St.? They’re not to monitor speeding, or to catch cars running the light. Earlier this month I wrote about Southborough’s only ladder truck being out of commission. Now the Fire Department has recommended the purchase of a new 100-foot ladder truck to the Board of Selectmen. The ladder truck they recommend, known as a quint, is equipped with a pump, water tank, hoses, aerial ladder and ground ladders.
