Memorial Day parade details
Southborough will remember its veterans on Monday with its annual Memorial Day parade. The parade starts at 9:00 am at the Marlboro Saving Bank at the corner of East Main and Newton Streets. Algonquin Boosters Tennis will hold the First Annual McCurdy Tennis Tournament on Sunday, June 13 and June 20. The tournament, which is open to all ages and skill levels, is named in honor of former Algonquin girls tennis coach Jan McCurdy who passed away from cancer last year. Reminder: License your dog by June 1
If you own a dog in Southborough and it’s more than six months old, you need to get a license for it each year. A license costs $12 for dogs that are not spayed or neutered, and $8 for dogs that are. If your dog is new to Southborough, you’ll need to provide a copy of the vet certificate showing that your dog has been spayed or neutered. Payment is by cash or check only.
