RiverFest— now in its eleventh year — is an annual celebration of the Sudbury River, a portion of which flows through the southernmost end of Southborough.

RiverFest offers a family-friendly afternoon of relaxation and fun. Take a canoe ride, participate in scavenger hunts, and make boats out of natural materials to float down the river. This year there will also be a history and nature walk with Whitney Beals.

The event is free and runs from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, June 12. Access to the river is through 6 Wood Street (map). For more information, see the event flyer (PDF).

RiverFest is hosted by the Southborough Open Land Foundation, with support from Southborough Recreation.
