Sunday’s road race nets $8K for Boston Marathon bombing victims (with PHOTOS)
A couple hundred runners and walkers pounded the pavement in Southborough on Sunday to help raise more than $8K for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. The 5K race, which started and ended at Trottier Middle School, was organized by Southborough-owned FitStudio 28, with help from the Southborough Recreation Department and other local businesses. Southborough Rotary wine and music event to raise money for senior housing improvements – Friday, June 14
Sip wine, nibble on homemade desserts, listen to music, and do it all for a good cause at Southborough Rotary’s Wine Down benefit on Friday. The event, to be held at St. Anne’s Parish Hall, will raise money to buy a new generator for Southborough’s Colonial Gardens senior housing community. The United States flag will fly at half mast until sunset on Friday, June 14.
