The Southborough Open Land Foundation asked me to share a couple of news items. One is highlights from from their recent annual meeting where they reviewed accomplishments and gave out the annual Elaine Beals Conservation Award.

On Memorial Day, Southborough residents honored the town’s veterans, especially those lost in battle. The event concluded with a surprise for the VFW Commander who led the ceremonies. The community is invited to “Celebrate Wellness”. As usual, the party wrapping up Mental Health Awareness Month will include an honoree reception for the annual Wellness Award.
