Wanted: Southborough’s most talented

Signing, dancing, martial arts, juggling, and a crowd-pleasing yo-yo act. The annual Southborough Rotary Club Talent Show has had it all. And now it’s your turn to join the fun.

Auditions for this year’s talent show will be held on Thursday (1/29) and Monday (2/2) at Trottier Middle School. The talent show itself is scheduled for March 6.

The show is open to adults and kids in grades 5 and higher. Family acts are also encouraged. Organizer and Trottier teacher Pam Lunder explains there are no prizes awarded. “There’s a nice camaraderie,” she says. “It’s all about celebrating the talents of kids.”

You need to schedule an audition in advance. Mrs. Lunder tells me they’ve already had a great response, so you’d better get cracking. While all talents are welcomed, they’re particularly interested in finding martial arts and juggling acts.

To schedule a 3-minute audition, contact Trottier teachers Mrs. Lunder or Mrs. Pini at 508-485-2400. Be sure to bring any music you need on CD.
