Country Gourmet may be changing ownership

It appears the Country Gourmet on Framingham Road may be changing hands and changing names.
According to a public notice, the owners of the Country Gourmet have applied to transfer their liquor license to a new owner. And not just any new owner, but Shohdy Ziada, proprietor of Turnpike Liquors on Route 9.

Neary principal retiring, future of the school under a microscope

After three years as principal of Neary, Joanne Irish has decided to retire at the end of the year. Irish told school committee members last night that she and her husband are relocating to the Cape.
Superintendent Charles Gobron thanked Irish for all she had done, and for her “kindness toward students, parents, and teachers.”

Hollywood comes to Southborough: Day 3

Church windows were washed on Wednesday, soil was spread across St. Mark’s Street in preparation for the sod, and more landscaping was put in place.

Fire logs for the week

Fire and EMS teams were on safety duty at the NECC 5K Race/Walk last weekend along with the police department, Recreation Department, and members of the Southborough Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC). You can find more pictures on the fire department website.
